Overall Purpose: Responsible for advancing legislative and regulatory agenda of the company in Southeast Louisiana.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Develops analysis of legislation and serves as subject matter expert; develops coalitions of 3rd parties. Collaborate and contribute to the government relations team; meets with state legislators and staff to discuss pending issues. Confer and consult with district staff to field constituent concerns. Promote company's regulatory agenda during public hearings. Manage Political Action Committee (PAC) activity and solicitation. Cooperates with all business units in meeting specific business goals and objectives. Responsible for municipal government relations support. Conducts various community events to bridge relationships between community and elected officials. Serves as the face of the corporation in the communities it serves. Serves on local boards and commissions. Viewed as integral community partner and thought leader. Serves as liaison between community and AT&T Foundation; administers local grant programs. Assists corporate communications with media relations.

Education: Preferred Bachelors+ degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: Typically 3-5 years of experience in related field.
