Job Summary: The Assistant Vice President, Business Development and Physician Services (AVP) is a member of the executive leadership team reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. This position is responsible for bringing leadership consensus to business development and decision making and the pro-active execution of all strategic initiatives. The position is also responsible for the planning, direction and evaluation of the administrative and operational functions of the NOLA Physician Group, Inc. (NPG) at NOEH across multiple sites of care. The position exercises leadership and management responsibility ensuring efficient services that are designed to meet the needs of our patient and their families as well as the hospital's goals, objectives and strategic plan.
Applicants must have an MBA, MHA, JD, or other Business or Healthcare related advanced degree.
Applicants should have at least 7 years of experience in healthcare leadership, including experience advising senior leaders on strategic and business objectives. Applicant should also have significant ambulatory operations experience, either in an ambulatory multi-specialty center, a large multi-specialty group practice or equivalent experience in a highly complex practice model to include prior physician contracting experience.
