Position Summary

Exhibits skills to operate scanner and produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation

Collects pertinent data about the patient and procedure

Exhibits skills to maintain equipment and assures availability of inventory items

Certification in EKG and Rhythm recognition

-Must be able to provide continuous monitoring of cardiac rate while recognizing heart rhythms and patterns at a monitoring station.

-Recognition of life threatening situations

Position Requirements:

Must have knowledge of general medical terminology

High School Diploma or equivalent

Training/education with certification in cardiac rhythms and EKG performance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

One year of relevant experience

Experience in performing EKGs
