JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspecting equipment on a preventative maintenance schedule; repairing, installing. and inspecting electrical equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions assuring that all equipment operates within established limits set by the manufacturer and current codes and standards.
Valid Louisiana State Electrical License, valid driver's license and good driving record.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Installation and maintenance/repair of electrical equipment and associated systems; working knowledge of electrical hazards and accident prevention; maintains preventive maintenance program records for the electrical system; ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams; familiarity with hospital motors, drives, mechanical equipment of all types; familiarity with safety procedures related to electrical equipment repair; responsible for executing preventive maintenance schedules for hospital environmental equipment, emergency generators and associated emergency power equipment.
