Position Summary:

The Administrative Coordinator functions as an administrative representative for Nursing Administration and for Tulane University Hospital & Clinics. The Administrative Coordinator serves to coordinate resources for hospital and clinic personnel, to insure that optimal quality patient care is provided in an efficient, cost-effective manner. Functions as a resource for financial decisions and service quality within the overall guidelines set by the Department Director and/or Officers. Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements */(Minimum qualifications for the position)/* 1. Licensure/Certification/Registration:Current Louisiana RN licensure. CPR required. ACLS and PALS certification required within 1 year. 2. Education: *Bachelors degree preferred. 3. *Experience:Three to five years of current clinical practice experience in various practice areas. Management experience preferred. 4. Special qualifications:Must be able to successfully complete established competencies for the position within designated probationary period.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, outstanding commitment to customer service. 5. *Hours of work: *Shift as scheduled.
